Quick tip for a grease-blocked drain
While cleaning up after breakfast, you accidentally spilled some bacon grease down the drain – and now the sink is clogged. If you don’t have a plunger handy, squirt a generous amount of liquid dish soap (about 1/2 cup) into the drain, then follow immediately with a kettle full of boiling water. The soap will act as a lubricant to soften and break up the blockage while the hot water dissolves and flushes any leftover residue. Within minutes, the pipes will be clear.
