Tip of the Day: Drying Sneakers

I read this tip in First for Women magazine. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds like a good idea.

Keep sneakers from clanking in the dryer

I hate the sound of sneakers clunking around in the dryer, don’t you? Here’s a tip: Place the sneakers in the dryer with the laces pulled up over the outside of the door so the shoes are suspended inside. Then close the door and run the dryer on low heat until the footwear is dry. The shoes will be held in place, letting you go about your to-do’s without that noisy clunking.
