Oh my! Such a delightful gift box! I need to share a story about my husband and this gift box. He was like a little kid in a candy store. I wouldn’t let him open it the first day but I finally gave in on the second day. Then the fun and laughter started. First I told him which candy he COULD NOT eat because it was mine. He only pouted for a minute. LOL. Then he began opening the package. See the picture above? That is exactly what it looked like when it arrived. In order to keep it looking so nice, Nostalgic Candy had to use quite a bit of scotch tape to keep everything in it’s proper place. So, once he got the cellophane wrapper off, he had to remove each piece by unwrapping the scotch tape. He didn’t like that. He wanted the candy NOW! It was so funny watching him unwrapping the candy he wanted. He finally gave up and took what he had already unwrapped. I ended up using scissors to remove the rest of the candy.
It was so much fun eating candy “from the past”. They have a large selection of gift boxes and other candy available. A few of them are : Decade Candy Boxes for the decade you were born, Tins/Lunchboxes filled with Candy, Goodie Bags with Candy, Bulk Candy, Classic Convertibles with Candy. Follow Nostalgic Candy on Facebook and Twitter.

I have seen boxes like this in the past and given them as gifts. It’s funny how much nostalgia can be contained in one little box. Every piece of candy brings back memories and brings your childhood rushing back. And tastes good! I will save this page to look up when birthdays roll around!
My sisters and I loved candy growing up (what kid doesn’t really). I would love to get both of them the birthday box for their birthday and get my mom a decade box from the ’60s. My mom would just be so shocked to see all the candy from her childhood. I love this idea! I really love lemon heads.
Now this is what candy is MEANT to be!!! Love the old days!!
