I keep kids creative by being creative myself and letting them see me being creative and inviting them to join in. Then it is simply a matter of not getting in their way!

I always let them explore and come up with their own ideas of how to use things. I always keep a lot of arts and crafts supplies in the house.
We try to do as many hands on activities as possible – cooking, drawing, fine motor skills. We also try to take them on educational outings as much as possible – museums, etc.
I kept lots of art supplies on hand. My daughter was VERY creative and she used so many items in her craft projects that I never would have thought to use.

I look for crafts or let them draw, which helps develop their imagination. We also make up our own stories.
I find praising their creativity, imagination & accomplishments will always result in their wanting to do more & better things the next time around!
I keep my kids creative by leading by example. If I look at everything in a different way and try to find something creative to do for every situation I can, they will too
I like not being too uptight or rigid when we’re trying to have fun/be creative!! I’ve mellowed a lot since my kids were little. LOL.
