I don’t want to give away all her tips but I don’t think she’ll mind me sharing one of them with my blogger friends and blogger-wanna-be’s. How many times have you rewritten your pitch letters to potential sponsors? Yep, met too. Well, here is one of Lisa’s hints which means I will be revising my pitch letter AGAIN!

Leave the stats out of it – I know this seems like an odd thing to leave out, but trust me – you won’t regret it. Out of the hundreds of pitches I have sent out (without including my stats), I have only been asked to provide them maybe 5% of the time. PR reps care less about your stats than you think. Having a great review reach 100 moms who are truly interested in the product is far better than that same review reaching 1,000,000 people who could not possibly care less about the product.
