My fondest fathers day moment is with my childrens father. He took the kids and let ME relax at home while he had a fun filled day with the kids. His present he said to him as a father was knowing that I was relaxing and being taken care of and making the kids happy spending time with them which fulfilled his day. That was what he wanted most and felt best about being a father was making his family completely happy!

My fondest father’s day was the last father’s day that I spent with my dad. He was dying from cancer and was in the hospital. We talked the doctor into letting us bring our dad home for the weekend. All five of us children and our families got together and had a father’s day cookout. Though he was not able to eat much, I think he enjoyed as much as we did. I will never forget that day.
