CRAYON BUSTER TIPS

Thanks to Centsable Coupon Lady for this post. How do you remove Crayon Stains from walls, furniture, etc.? Parents often face this at least once during their child’s coloring/art stage! Well over the years thanks to websites, magazines, books, and just friends I have collected several ways to Remove Crayon Stains from Walls and other places so I thought I would share the tips with you today!   • TOOTHPASTE—-(not gel) it’s a great way to not only remove crayons from the wall but it also removes perm marker from walls, hands etc. In fact I recently was sent a product to review, the product came with markers which of course got on my little ones hands. We couldn’t get it off so I wrote the company and toothpaste was the first thing they recommended! So don’t under estimate this product!
  •  Baby Oil —- apply directly to the area and then wipe it off
  •  Mayonnaise —- scrub a bit, wipe it in a circular motion and then wipe it off.
  •  WD 40 —– spray on the marks, rub off with a cloth then use hot soapy water on the spot.
  •  Hand Lotion —- Rub into the marks then wash

Other products to use….(Rub and wash off) include :

  •  BABY WIPES
  • RUBBING ALCOHOL
  • HAIRSPRAY
  • PAM OR NON STICK COOKING SPRAY
  • TURPENTINE
  • LIGHTER FLUID
  • GOO GONE
  • AMMONIA Soak a cloth then rub into the area
  • VINEGAR –Soak a toothbrush
  • SHAVING CREAM
  • BAKING SODA
  • Heat—use a hair dryer
  • POWDERED HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS
